Alan Walls is an American international basketball coach and administrator with 30+ years of experience on the youth, high school, NCAA, professional and national team levels in 17 countries on five continents. Walls most recently was the head coach of the Malta men's national team the finished second in the 2022 FIBA Championship for Small Countries and the 2023 Games of the Small States of Europe. Walls has worked with the national federations of Malta, Turkey, Romania, Palestine, Mongolia and El Salvador as well as coached or conducted camps and clinics throughout the United States – including his native Hawaii – Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Argentina, China, Hong Kong, Kenya and Israel. In 2010 Walls was tasked by the Turkish Basketball Federation to be the camp director of the FIBA Children of the World Basketball Camp at the FIBA World Championships. Walls is a resident of El Salvador working on basketball-related projects around the world.
K.J. Smith is a Professional basketball coach who comes from a hoops family. As 20+ members of his family have experience as both players & coaches from the high school to NBA levels, KJ uses this experience to teach the game overseas. He spent three Years in Brazil where he learned to speak Portuguese in his first season with the team on
K.J. Smith is a Professional basketball coach who comes from a hoops family. As 20+ members of his family have experience as both players & coaches from the high school to NBA levels, KJ uses this experience to teach the game overseas. He spent three Years in Brazil where he learned to speak Portuguese in his first season with the team on route to the 2nd division title. Upon moving to the first division known as the NBB, his teams spent the next two seasons making playoff appearances and being among the top half of the league statistically. During the summer’s he coached in the CEBL for the Vancouver Bandits in Canada. In his first season with the team as Video Coordinator the team went to the finals where they finished in 2nd place. In the following season he was promoted to Assistant Coach & Offensive coordinator which would help the team to a league best offense for the first half of the season as well as another playoff appearance.
K.J. would then coach in the Slovak Basketball League for one season as an assistant where he helped the team improve it’s 3-Point percentage mid season from 31% to 38.5% in his first 8 games with the team. At the same time, he worked remotely as the Video Coordinator for the former champions of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) in Zamalek SC in Egypt. They would go undefeated in the regular season before finishing 3rd place in the playoffs.
Currently KJ is coaching with Vichy-Clermont in France. He is an Assistant on both the Professional team in the Pro B (2nd Division) as well as the U21 team. He is also the Head coach of the U18 roster. His other responsibilities in Vichy include a program-wide system of individualized player development within the context of the organizations tactics.
On Top of that, he is the current Video Coordinator of the Austrian National team. Lastly, KJ spent 4 years in Miami working in the Erik Spoelstra Basketball Academy where he helped young players develop their skills as well as learning from coaching staff members of the Miami Heat.

American coach Erik Olson, the current Head Coach of Ho Chi Minh City Wings in the Vietnamese Basketball Association, has had success at each of his many overseas stops. Following a successful playing career at Linfield College (NCAA), Olson spent four seasons playing in the UK, Germany and Australia. He transitioned to the sidelines as Head Coach of Wagga Wagga in the Australian Waratah League, being named coach of the year in 2011. Olson then built FSu Academy into a perennial winner in Iceland's first division and was named Eurobasket coach of the year in 2015. Olson later guided Randers Cimbria (Denmark Basketligaen) and Hogsbo (Sweden Superettan) to top three league finishes. Olson also served as assistant coach with the Iceland U20 men's team and head coach of the Scotland senior men's national team.
